Two postdoc positions at Singapore University of Technology and Design

The project is to apply machine learning / AI technique in energy management (especially renewable energy and storage system). The candidate should familiar with big data analysis, machine learning techniques, reinforcement learning, etc. Self-motivated candidates with a PhD degree (or having submitted his/her thesis) in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science / engineering or relevant discipline, and a good track record of publications in the relevant areas are encouraged to apply.

Position #2

The objective of this 3-year research project is to work on predictive maintenance techniques that help to determine the condition of equipment in order to predict when and what repairs should be performed. The candidate should familiar with system degradation modelling, system failure prediction, abnormal detection, transfer learning etc. The research will be conducted together with an industry partner, who manufactures the equipment. Candidates with strong hands-on experience and strong publication record in relevant areas are encouraged to apply.
